Crossbridge Capital Crossbridge said it will donate $288 to Food from the Heart when each new account is opened or when an existing account is topped up by $350,000 or more.
, which has about $4 billion under advisement, has launched a campaign, CONNECT Prime Gives Back, to support a food charity assisting families hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The charity is called Food from the Heart.
The campaign will run from Monday 27 April 2020 to 30 June 2020 and is applicable to new as well as returning clients of CONNECT Prime. To become a client of CONNECT, applicants should be at least 18 years of age and an Accredited or Institutional Investor according to Singapore regulations.
"This is an unprecedented time in our history. As a firm, we have been doing all we can to serve our clients during these extraordinary times," Yai Sukonthabhund, CEO of Crossbridge Capital Asia, said.
The firm is based in London, Singapore, Monaco and Malta. After it was launched in the UK and secured regulatory approval, it opened in Singapore in November. Food from the Heart is a charity founded in February 2003 by Singapore-based Austrian couple Henry and Christine Laimer. Food from the Heart has so far supported 44,600 people throughout Singapore by distributing S$6.2 million worth of food in 2019.
